COVID 19 INFORMATION – AUCKLAND / NAPIER BRANCHES – FROM 21 SEPTEMBER 2020 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Updated 21/09/2020 – As part of the governments announcement on the 21 September 2020 Auckland will be in Level 2.5 until 11:59pm Wednesday 23rd September 2020 when we will move into Level 2.
Napier remains open and operating under Level 1 conditions from 23:59 Monday 21st September 2020 Legally contact tracing must still continue so their QR code will still be displayed for your convenience
For the Auckland office under Level 2 restrictions please follow the below:
SCAN OUR NZ COVID TRACING QR CODES
Auckland – 1 Code will be on the wall by the main counter, 1 code will also be on the window by the front door.
Napier – 1 code will be on the main counter and 1 code will also be on the window by the front door.
If you have not been able to download the governments tracing app you will be required to leave us with your name and contact details for a period of 60 days as per the governments guidelines – Businesses are LEGALLY required to have the QR codes and a alternative contact tracing system as well.
After the 61st day your details will be destroyed securely and these details will NOT be used for any marketing purposes unless otherwise advised. The only time your details will be provided to another party is if we have been required to provide them to the Ministry of Health or other Covid 19 NZ Government agency.
Once you have scanned the QR code or provided us with your details we will then be able to serve you.
IF YOU OR SOMEONE IN YOUR WORKPLACE/HOUSEHOLD ARE UNWELL
If you or someone you work closely with or live with is unwell with cold or flu like symptoms we ask you to stay away from both of our premises.
We can still help you but this will need to be done via phone and if visual assistance is needed we can organise a Zoom chat between yourself and one of our technicians.
This is to protect our staff, their families and also our other customers as well.
We will no longer be able to do Cash Sales onsite for Auckland (unless you have an account with us), we do not have an eftpos machine that does Pay Wave so to eliminate surfaces that may be touched by multiple people we will need to process any cash sales via our company Paypal account (this way you can use pin number credit cards, debit cards etc, extra fees do apply) or we can give you an invoice to pay by Direct Credit to our bank account.
As you may already know masks are still being encouraged whilst in areas where social distancing is not possible (and still mandatory on public transport). This includes on our premises, you may see our staff wearing masks and gloves whilst on our premises or at customer locations.
This is to protect our staff, their families and also you as our customers as we do also go across multiple different customer sites in different regions.
WORKSHOP/OFFICE GENERAL ACCESS
To limit the amount of shared areas or surfaces between our staff, contractors and customers there will be no entry to our workshop, bathroom or kitchen facilities or throughout our offices.
We will make sure that all surfaces and areas are still being cleaned regularly between our offices and staff tools and vehicles as well.
Sanitizer, masks and any other safety consumables will not be provided as we will need these for our own staff members at both branches.
We appreciate your co operation and patience whilst we transition to this new normal for the foreseeable future.
